Harry R. Jones of Endicott

Harry R. Jones 84 passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, June 9, 2010 at Lourdes Hospital.
He is survived by his devoted wife and best friend of forty-six years Lorraine Jones, two sons Michael (Tina) Jones and their children Amanda, Emily and Wade of St. Amant, LA, and Timothy (Danielle) Jones and their children Timothy Jr. and Brianna of Tonawanda, a daughter Lisa Jones of Tucson, AZ, an aunt Elva Reese and daughter Daneen Reese of Clark-Summit, PA, a cousin Geoffrey (Sharon) Jones of Apalachin and dear friends Lew and Sue Jones.
He attended St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Endicott and St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in Vestal. He was an Army veteran of WWII serving in the European Theatre. He was a retired employee of the New York State Department of Labor. He was Past Master, Trustee and sixty-year member of Round Hill F.& A.M. Lodge #533 Endicott, and member of several Masonic organizations, the Kalurah Shrine, the Welsh Society of the Southern Tier, and the Jennie F. Snapp Senior Citizens.

Funeral Information

A Masonic service will be offered on Sunday 7pm at the Chopyak-Scheider Funeral Home, 326 Prospect Street Binghamton. Burial will be on Monday 10am at Vestal Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors. A memorial service will follow at 11:30am Monday at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 200 Jefferson Avenue, Endicott with Rev. Susanna DesMarias officiating.
