Mr. John Kulbis

December 18, 1933 - July 02, 2010

John Kulbis 76 passed away on Friday morning, July 2, 2010 at Wilson Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Myrna Salisbury Shea Kulbis of Johnson City, a son, Brett (Marie) Kulbis retired US Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer, three stepson, Michael (Susan) Shea, Patrick Shea and John Shea, and six grandchildren, Jan Michael Kulbis, Jeremiah, Mikey, Katlyn, Dylan and Leah Shea.
He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and took pride in volunteering many hours taking care of the Veterans Section of Glenwood Cemetery.
He was a retired United States Postal Service carrier of Johnson City and a former Johnson City fireman.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held Thursday 11am at the Chopyak-Scheider Funeral Home, 326 Prospect Street Binghamton where the family will receive friends Thursday 10am until the time of the service. Burial will take place afterwards with military honors in the Veterans Section of Glenwood Cemetery.
