George Lucik formerly of Binghamton

George Lucik 90 went to his eternal rest on Wednesday morning, January 4, 2012, at St. Ann’s Community in Rochester.
He was predeceased by his parents; Frank and Anna Lucik; his brother John Lucik; sister Maria (Joseph) Vattai, sister Anne (Gerald) Gugger and a sister-in-law Ann Lucik.
He is survived by his brother Frank Lucik Jr.; niece Patricia (Ronald) Bleier; two nephews Robert F. (Janet) Lucik and Joseph G. (Pamela) Vattai; a great niece Ashley Lucik; two great nephews Joseph and Anthony Vattai and two beloved great nieces Olivia and Jillian Bleier.
He was a member of St. Michael’s Greek Catholic Church. George was a Coast Guard Veteran of WWII and a retired seaman for ESSO Oil Company.

Funeral Information

A Divine Liturgy and funeral service will be celebrated by the Very Rev. Protopresbyter James Dutko on Friday at 9:30am at St. Michael’s Greek Catholic Church, 292 Clinton Street, Binghamton. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Rev. Dutko will conduct a prayer service Thursday 4 pm at the Chopyak-Scheider Funeral Home, 326 Prospect St. Binghamton where the family will receive friends Thursday 3-6pm.
