Mary Bezek Borush Fedoris of Johnson City

Mary Bezek Borush Fedoris of Johnson City 97 fell asleep in the Lord on Sunday morning, August 20, 2017 at the Ideal Senior Living Center.

She was predeceased by her husbands, Frank Borush and Alec Fedoris, her son, Francis Borush, brothers Stephen Bezek and Joseph (Dorothy) Bezek Jr.

She us survived by a sister, Rose and her husband, Floyd Katleski of Endwell; daughter-in-law, Linda Borush, two grandchildren, Barbara (Daniel) Phillips, and Frank (Terry) Borush, four great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren,  a sister-in-law, Bernadine Nemcek, a god daughter, Anne Bezek and many nieces and nephews.

She was an active member of St. Michael’s Greek Catholic Church taking part in their annual pirohi sales along with baking cakes, kolachki and buchti.

She was a retired employee of the Endicott-Johnson Shoe Corporation Johnson City.

The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of the Ideal Senior Living Center for their compassionate care given to Mary during her time as their resident.

Services are being provided by the Chopyak-Scheider Funeral Home.

Funeral Information

A Divine Liturgy and Funeral Service will be celebrated by the Very Rev. Protopresbyter James Dutko on Wednesday at 10am at St. Michael’s Greek Catholic Church, 292 Clinton Street, Binghamton where the family will receive friends from 9-10am at the church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Donations Information

Contributions may be made in Mary's memory to St. Michael's Cemetery Fund in lieu of flowers.
