William Krisko formerly of Binghamton

William Krisko 90 fell asleep in the Lord on Tuesday morning, June 1, 2010 at the NYS Veterans Home in Oxford.
He was predeceased by his parents William (Amelia) Kreczko Sr., his sister and brother-in-law Mary and George Harendza and his brother John Kreczko.
He is survived by his sister-in-law Pauline Kreczko of Binghamton, six nephews Bill, Dan (Debbie), Bob (Karen), and Raymond Harendza and Kenneth (Karen) and David (Yvette) Kreczko, two great nieces Beth and Rachel Harendza, and a dear friend Ed Goodrich.
He was an Army veteran of WWII serving in the Pacific Theatre. He was a retired bricklayer and lifetime member of the International Masons & Bricklayers Union Local #3. He was an avid trout fisherman. Bill enjoyed taking long walks, talking to people and gave much to his family and those that needed assistance. The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at the NYS Veterans Home in Oxford for their compassionate and respectful care given to Bill during his stay.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held Friday 10 am at the Chopyak-Scheider Funeral Home, 326 Prospect Street Binghamton with Rev. Iyla Gotlinsky officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Johnson City.
