Andrew " Steve" Deliman of Vestal

Andrew “Steve” Deliman, 91 departed this life on Sunday morning, April 9, 2017 leaving his devoted wife of 68 years, Claudia.

He was predeceased by his son Stephen Deliman.

Steve is survived by his wife, Claudia, a son, Basil (Susy) Deliman, two daughters, Janet Deliman and Debra (Raymond) Tompkins, his daughter-in-law, Karen Deliman, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, his brother Myron (Eleanor) Deliman, sister, Millie Briggs, nieces and nephews.

He was a member of Dormition of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church.  He was a graduate of Union-Endicott Schools and a Navy veteran of WWII serving on the USS Refuge as a pharmacist’s mate third class. He retired from  I.B.M. Corporation, Endicott and was recruited as a pirohi dough roller for his church.

Funeral Information

A funeral service will be held Wednesday 1pm at Dormition of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church, 54 Baxter Street, Binghamton with Very Rev. Ilya Gotlinsky officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday at noon until the time of the service at the church.
