Wanda Massar

September 23, 1922 - March 13, 2009

Wanda A. Massar 86 went to be with the Lord on Friday afternoon, March 13, 2009, at the James G. Johnston Nursing Home.
She was predeceased by her husband, William Massar; her parents Teofil and Katherine Ambo; two brothers, Chester and Walter Ambo; and two sisters, Sophie Northrup and Ceil Hores.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathy and her husband John Pavlik of Vestal, and Dede and her husband Skip Conrad Jr. of Rock Hill, SC; five grandchildren, Lynsey Pavlik, John Pavlik II, Jesse, Brian and Kristin Conrad and several nieces and nephews.
Wanda was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church and the Bill Flynn Polka Fan Club. She was a retired receptionist for the Social Security Administration in Binghamton.
She enjoyed golfing, going out to dinner with her family, taking various cruises and trips and spending time with her sisters.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 9am at the Chopyak-Scheider Funeral Home, 326 Prospect Street Binghamton followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30am at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 346 Prospect Street, Binghamton. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery, Town of Maine. The family will receive friends Monday 4-7pm at the funeral home.
