Mary Korba D’Aloisio of Johnson City

Mary Korba D’Aloisio, 87, passed away peacefully at Lourdes Hospital on Sunday morning, November 23, 2008. She was predeceased by her husband, Alfonso D’Aloisio; her brothers, Nicholas, Peter and George Korba; and her granddaughter, Pamela D’Aloisio.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Kevin Graham; her son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Linda D’Aloisio; her grandchildren, Scott and Brande Graham; three great grandchildren, Keiko, Emma, and Ketcher Graham; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Andrew, Edward, Irene, Dolores, and Julie Korba; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Mary was born in Elkhorn, WV. For the past 3 years she has been a resident of United Methodist Homes Hilltop Campus in Johnson City.
She was a member of St. Michael’s Greek Catholic Church, where she was an enthusiastic member of the pirohi making team. She enjoyed her family, bowling, Bingo, slot machines and travel. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by General Electric.
The family offers special thanks to the staff of Hilltop 2 West, Dr. Heintzelman, and Dr. DiMenna.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 26th, at 9:30am at St. Michael’s Greek Catholic Church, 292 Clinton Street, Binghamton, with the Very Rev. Protopresbyter James Dutko. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Rev. Dutko will conduct a prayer service on Tuesday at 4pm at the Chopyak-Scheider Funeral Home, 326 Prospect Street, Binghamton, where the family will receive friends Tuesday 3-7pm.
