Mrs. Evelyn R. Swatko

June 21, 1926 - August 05, 2009

Evelyn R. Swatko 83 died peacefully Wednesday morning, August 5, 2009 at Willow Point Nursing Home.
She was predeceased by her husband, John Swatko Sr. and her daughter Lynn Swatko.
She is survived by two sons; John (Cindy) Swatko Jr. and Steven Swatko, two daughters; Karen (Wilson) Burnard and Yvonne (Stephen) Austenfeld, her grandchildren; Stacey, Nick, Marina, John, Aaron, Jane and Tara.
Evelyn and her late husband, John and children owned and operated “Baron’s Seafood” of Binghamton and Endicott. Besides enjoying her family, Evelyn liked baking and playing bingo. Her kolachki and pirohi will be missed at the family gatherings.
The family would like to thank the Willow Point Nursing Home staff for their compassionate care given to their mother during her stay.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11am at the Chopyak-Scheider Funeral Home, 326 Prospect St. Binghamton with Rev. Christopher J. Celentano officiating. The family will receive friends Monday 5-7pm and Tuesday 10am until the time of the service. Burial will be in Spring Forest Cemetery.
