Obituary for Kenneth G. Kiehart

Kenneth G. Kiehart of Binghamton, born on Feb. 24, 1950 entered his heavenly golf course on Friday, May 25, 2018 after a brief illness. He was predeceased by his parents, Michael & Leocadia Kiehart, and his in-laws, Michael & Mary Kutch.
Surviving are his wife Kathleen (Kutch) Kiehart, daughters, Desiree Danko of Binghamton and Kristen (Nick) Winchell of Albany; sisters, Nancy Flaherty of Endwell and Karen (Brian) Gennity and their daughters, Kelley&Diane of Houston, TX, his brother-in-law, Michael (Linda) Kutch and their daughters, Lauren & Courtney of Vestal.
Ken graduated from Maine-Endwell High School Class of 68 where he played varsity basketball. He was retired from Anitec Corporation in Binghamton and played in their golf league.
He enjoyed his family vacations. He loved all music, especially musicals, concerts and Bruce Springsteen. He was a member of St. Michael’s Orthodox Church, where he was active at the Recreation Center, serving on its board and volunteering in the kitchen, working and joking with the ladies.
He will be remembered for his quick wit, jokes and pranks on his family and friends.
A funeral service will be offered by Very Rev. Protopresbyter James Dutko on Friday 1pm at the Chopyak-Scheider Funeral Home, 326 Prospect Street, Binghamton where the family will receive friends Thursday 4-7pm and Friday noon until the time of the service. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Wilson I.C.U. for their wonderful compassionate care.
